New and existing Discover customers can now sign up for Zelle as of October 20th 2020. Looks like Discover had to negotiate a new contract with Zelle or something because the Terms and Conditions are slightly different. Was able to sign up for Zelle via the discover app. Previously Discover did not allow new sign ups for Zelle as seen here.Zelle has an FAQ on their website that may be helpful. from what i know, zelle is third party and has their own policies that discover doesn’t have much control over.
