The culinary expertise and creativity of the chef and mixologist, combined with the unsurpassed service, results in a memorable, rave- worthy experience. Although more casual than The Modern and other very highly rated restaurants, The Bar Room was one of the best dining experiences we have EVER had. The Bar Room is a dining bucket list essential!
Overall, the Modern is still high quality and dishes were well done, minus a few that were a slight bit too salty for me (but more of a personal preference perhaps). The price though I felt was a little bit high for a 4-course lunch but the quality of the food certainly ranks well among the restaurants in NYC!
